Which Course is Best for Me?
Magnet Forensics Training covers a wide range of skills and knowledge for students. AX100 is there for those starting in the field, while AX200 will help you interrogate suspect media and understand the findings discovered during a forensic examination. If you want to drill down to a particular area of interest, we have a course that works for you—whether that’s our AX250, AX300, AX301, AX310, AX320, or AX350 courses.
Any completed instructor-led Magnet Forensics training course (in-person or virtual) can be counted for 32 CPE credits through NASBA.
These four-day courses will give you a thorough understanding of Magnet AXIOM and will offer you the opportunity to train for examinations that involve smartphones, computers, and the Cloud.
Magnet AXIOM Examinations
An intermediate-level course for those who are familiar with the principles of digital forensics, and are seeking to use Magnet AXIOM for their investigations. Completion of AX200 will qualify you for MCFE – AXIOM certification.

Become a Magnet Certified Forensics Examiner (MCFE)
The MCFE certification is an accreditation that validates an examiners’ expert-level competence with Magnet Forensics products to peers, internal stakeholders and external audiences, including legal teams or clients. Our certification program is free to users who have completed the prerequisite training courses.
AXIOM Certification
This certification will authenticate your expertise and competence using Magnet AXIOM for your digital forensics investigations. MCFE – AXIOM consists of a free exam with a mix of theory and practical questions.
The prerequisite for MCFE — AXIOM is the successful completion of the AXIOM Examinations (AX200) course.
IEF Certification
This certification shows your exceptional competence with our premier artifact searching and recovering tool. The MCFE – IEF certification consists of a free exam with a mix of theory and practical questions.
As of 2017, successful completion of the IEF Examinations course will allow you to apply for the MCFE – IEF certification.
